Canapés with Cheese and Nuts - Preparation

Cut a canapé out of toast bread using a pastry cutter, smear butter on it and place a cut-out slice of cheese on it. Mix the cream cheese with salt, white pepper and a bit of finely chopped curly parsley. Put the mixture on the canapé using a confectioner's bag. Finish the canapé with grape wine, a walnut and a piece of curly parsley.

Canapés with Herb Pesto

"Ladybugs" - Preparation

Prepare the mousse by whipping softened butter with chopped ham, add salt and whip again. Gently stir whipped cream into the prepared matter. Let the mousse rest in the fridge. Smear it on salty crackers and decorate with a piece of lettuce. Place halves of slightly cut cherry tomatoes and quarters of olives on top. Make the ladybug eyes and marks using a stick and mayonnaise and finish the canapé by sticking chives into it to form antennae.

Canapés with Smoked Salmon

First, cut the salmon into small pieces. Mix the sour cream with cream cheese (1 pack of cream cheese for 2 tablespoons of sour cream) and chopped dill. Place a piece of smoked salmon on each slice of radish and decorate it with a little mound of the dill mix using a confectioner's bag.

Blend the red beets and the peeled chopped avocado. Add salt and pepper to taste. Slice the cucumber into thick slices. Put a teaspoon of the mix on each cucumber slice and decorated it with parsley and a piece of bell pepper.

  • 250 g mozzarella cheese
  • 100 g dried tomatoes in oil
  • fresh rosemary for decoration

Marinade Ingredients

  • 80 ml extra virgin olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons chopped flat parsley
  • 1 tbs dried garlic
  • 1 tbs dried oregano
  • half a teaspoon Italian spices
  • salt
  • freshly ground pepper

Canapés with Mozzarella - Preparation

Mix together all the ingredients for the marinade. Cut the cheese into same-size pieces and put everything into a well-sealable jar. Pour the marinade over the cheese, stir everything well, close the jar and let the cheese marinate for 24 hours. Then place a piece of tomato on a cube of cheese and decorate with a piece of rosemary. A decorative toothpick makes a nice finishing touch.

Canapés with Dried Tomatoes

Canapés with Dried Tomatoes - Preparation

Let the dried tomatoes preserved in oil drop off the oil for a bit. Then cut them diagonally and prepare the dark baguette. Slice the baguette into slices half a centimetre thick and sprinkle some oil from the tomatoes on them. Put a piece of rucola and a slice of a dried tomato on top. Decorate it with Parmesan cheese shavings to taste.

Kiwi Canapés


  • 5 pcs kiwi
  • 250 g mozzarella cheese
  • 20 leaves baby spinach
  • freshly ground pepper

Peel the kiwi and slice it into 4 slices. Cut the mozzarella cheese into 20 stripes. Place a stripe of mozzarella on each slice of kiwi and put a teaspoon of pomegranate cores on the cheese. Add a bit of pepper and decorate with a baby spinach leaf.

Fast Puff Pastry

You will only need a dough packet, eggs, spices and optionally also nuts and cheese for decoration. Spread the dough into a pancake ca 0.5 cm thick. Then use a pastry cutter to cut out small shapes out of the dough - trees, stars, hearts, squares or just simple sticks. Smear whipped eggs onto the cut-out and prepared shapes and use your imagination to decorate them, e.g. using caraway, pizza spices, coarse-grained salt, pieces of nuts, grated cheese, etc. Bake in a medium preheated oven until the pastry gains golden colour.

Home-Made Salty Almonds

Put the almonds into boiling water and after you take them out, peel them and dry them. Then put them into oil - use two tablespoons of oil per 100 g of almonds and leave them in it for 30 minutes. After taking them out of oil, let the oil drop off the almonds for a bit, then put the almonds on a baking tray or pan and fry them until they turn pink. When they are finished, mix them with some salt and serve.

Fried Sugar Almonds with Cinnamon

First, stir 250 g of sugar with 800 ml of water on the stove until the mixture turns yellowish. Add 250 g of unpeeled almonds, add some cinnamon and keep stirring until the sugar coats the almonds. Finally, add 20 g of boiled butter, mix everything together and put into another bowl. Cover the bowl with a kitchen cloth and let everything cool down.

Onion Quiche


  • 1 puff pastry dough packet
  • 350 – 450 g grated cheese
  • 250 g bacon chopped into cubes
  • 500 - 750 g roughly chopped onion
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 sour cream
  • salt, pepper, ground caraway

Onion Pie - Preparation

Spread the dough to form a rectangle and place it on a baking tray. Fry the bacon on a pan, add the onion and fry until it turns golden. Add salt, pepper and caraway to taste and let everything cool down. Mix the bacon-onion mixture with two eggs and sour cream and spread it on the dough rectangle. Put the pie into oven preheated to 200-220°C. When the dough starts turning gold, sprinkle grated cheese on top of the pie and finish the baking.
